Please read the following terms and conditions carefully. Booking with FlyMe Global is your acknowledgment that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.
These Booking Conditions apply to the person making the booking and all other persons on whose behalf the booking is made.
Agency
FlyMe Global acts as a travel agent. We arrange travel services and sell travel related products on behalf of suppliers such as airlines, tour operators, car hirers and accommodation providers. Your booking will be subject to the terms and conditions applied by the provider of the service or products. You agree that if the travel services or products are not supplied in accordance with your booking your remedy lies with the service provider and not FlyMe Global.
Passport
All travellers must have a valid passport for international travel. Please ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months from the date of return and that your full name that you provide for your reservation are exactly the same as they appear on your passport. Amendment fees apply to all name changes and sometimes incur cancellation and re-booking fees. You may be rejected from the Migration Authority of any country if you have a passport less than six months validation. FlyMe Global is not liable for any passport validity below 6 months. If your passport is due to expire before your return to Australia, under the circumstances you should renew your passport before your travel date. This may be variable depending on the country you visit.
Visa
Visas, including transit visas, are the passengers own responsibility. For more information please log on to http://www.dfat.gov.au/travel or www.smartraveller.gov.au. Please check with the respective Embassy or Consulate of each country that you are scheduled to visit, as many destinations require visas for both Australian and Non-Australian Passport holders. FlyMe Global does not advise about visa terms and conditions on any country as they constantly change and are variable. It is your responsibility to ensure you have valid visas and re-entry permits which meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities. Any fines, penalties, payments, and expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be your sole responsibility.
Travel Insurance
FlyMe Global strongly recommends that all clients take out fully comprehensive travel insurance as per Australian Government guidelines and takes no responsibility for any client’s decision to travel uninsured. Certain destinations have made taking out travel insurance compulsory; hence we would suggest you to check with the relevant embassy or the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
Health / Vaccinations
It is your responsibility to ensure that you are aware of any health requirements for your travel destination and to ensure that you carry all necessary vaccination documentation. All travellers, regardless of the intended destination, should contact "The Travel Doctor" – TMVC (local call 1300 658 844) or your own doctor for professional advice prior to departure. Air ticket Bookings
Passengers must make sure that all the names are accurate as per the passport and timings are correct according to the itinerary. Changes might not be allowed after the tickets are provided and alterations may incur additional chargers. On receipt of all travel documents please check whether the details such as names, dates and timings are accurate and advise us immediately if any revisions are to be done. FlyMe Global is not liable after the booking confirmed by the client. Airfares quoted are only valid for the day given, and are subject to change, withdrawal, or alteration by airlines without notice, prior to the final ticketing process being completed. Any pre-reserved seating is subject to change at any time by the airlines. Individual airline conditions do apply, and these can be obtained by contacting our consultants or by contacting the airline direct, via phone or the airline’s web site. FlyMe Global is not liable for the cancellation of any services, or bankruptcy by third company providers, including all airlines.
Prices (Air and Land)
Airfare:: All prices are subject to availability and can be withdrawn or varied without notice. Please note that prices quoted are subject to change. Price changes may occur by reason of matters outside our control which increase the cost of the product or service. Such factors include adverse currency fluctuations, fuel surcharges, taxes and airfare increases. Please contact your consultant for upto-date prices. The price is only guaranteed once paid in full.
Accommodation and Tour Packages: All rates are subject to availability and change due to matters which are not within our control such as hotel rates and government taxes. Prices are subject to currency fluctuations. The price is only guaranteed once paid in full.
Changes to flight times
It is your responsibility to contact the airline prior to departure to ensure there is no change to the schedule departure time. FlyMe Global will always make sure to contact you if we are made aware of any such changes but will not be liable for any costs incurred if contact has not been made.
Final Travel Arrangements
Please ensure that all your travel, passport, visa and insurance documents are in order and that you arrive in plenty of time for checking in at the airport. It may be necessary to reconfirm your flight with the airline prior to departure. Please confirm all your flights at each destination before 72 hours prior. You should take a note of any reference number or contact name when reconfirming. If you fail to reconfirm you may be refused permission to board the aircraft and you are unlikely to receive any refund.
Cancellation fee And Amendment fee
Written cancellation or amendment requests are to be sent by you and it will not take effect until received by us. All cancellations are governed by the terms and conditions of the airlines booked for services. After confirmation, any cancellation of any component of your travel flight will incur cancellation fee charged by FlyMe Global plus any cancellation fee compulsory by the Airlines and consolidator. Infant tickets, special deal/discounted air fares are always non-refundable as set out by the airlines. If you want to alter any item, other than expanding the number of persons in your party/booking, you would have to pay a modification fee per booking, including the airline/supplier charges (if any). Please note that all travel providers charge amendment and cancellation fees and many treat passenger name changes and itinerary alterations as a full cancellation, and, as such, these changes can incur full cancellation charges.
Reissue Fee
If any ticket has been issued that requires a change, perhaps a date, a reissue fee will apply, at a service fee of AUD 45.00 per change plus any reissue fee, fare difference, tax difference payable to the airline. If travel has commenced and ticket requires reissue, airlines may charge additional fees and taxes, or local office fees.
Credit Cards
Credit card surcharges apply when paying by credit card. Card types accepted by FlyMe Global are Visa, MasterCard, and American express. Transactions made using these card types incur charges ranging from 1-3.5% dependent on what credit card issuer is user. Any travel booking made with FlyMe Global is subject to your credit card approval for the transaction. If your credit card is not approved we will contact you but accept no responsibility for any costs incurred in the event we are unable to contact you. FlyMe Global cannot accept responsibility for any rebooking costs for missed ticketing deadlines. Under such circumstances any booking arrangements will be cancelled. If for any reason any travel service provider including airlines, do not provide the services to which you have been contracted, the liability is against that provider, and not against FlyMe Global. If payment for such a product was made to FlyMe Global by credit card, by accepting these booking conditions, you agree that you are not to seek a chargeback to your credit card payment to FlyMe Global when the services did not occur through no fault of FlyMe Global. You agree to await the refund of the payment.
Carry-on baggage at international airports
Please note there are recent new rules for taking liquids, aerosols and gels on flights. Please ensure you read the Security Guide for Carry-on Baggage at International Airports Bookings made on Low Cost Carriers in some instances do not include a check-in baggage allowance. Check-in baggage allowances included in the fare purchased will be listed on your booking confirmation from the airline. Please contact the airline directly prior to your scheduled departure if you require adding or increasing your check-in baggage limit. Baggage fees may be charged directly by the airline for adding or increasing check-in baggage allowances, please note higher charges may be imposed at the airport for any additional requirements that are not pre-arranged. Check-in baggage fees are non-refundable once purchased.
Liability
FlyMe Global does not accept any liability for omissions of default of any third party providers. FlyMe Global does not accept any liability for damage, injury, delay, additional costs or inconvenience caused by any event or force majeure that is not under our direct control. FlyMe Global is not liable for the cancellation of any services, or bankruptcy by third party company providers, including all airlines. FlyMe Global’s role in relation to your travel arrangements is limited to assisting your bookings, delivering travel documentation, payments and refunds as applicable. If for any reason any travel service provider including airlines, do not provide the services to which you have been contracted, the liability is against that provider, and not against FlyMe Global.
Frequent Flyer
When booking with one of our consultants, please let them know your frequent flyer membership details (or other applicable loyalty program details) for inclusion in your booking. Please check your frequent flyer program (or other applicable loyalty program) for the specific terms of your membership. We cannot guarantee that the supplier will credit you with points for your booking.
Tax
Government tax, airport charge, fuel surcharges are current at time of booking but are subject to change without notice. Airport and departure taxes are included in the airfare or included within the Government taxes or airport charges. Additional departure taxes may be applicable at some airports and payable in the local currency directly on departure.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes or issues need to settle to the jurisdiction of the court of Victoria.
Agency
